A Night at Switch n' Play, 2019
Set over one unforgettable night at the Branded Saloon, a gay country-western bar in Brooklyn, this concert-style documentary introduces the members of a queer performance collective, Switch n’ Play, through their electrifying show. More than entertainers, they emerge as a chosen family who welcome queer audiences into their world and create a space that is both safe and electrifying.
Winner of the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the 2019 NewFest Film Festival, the film celebrates the joy, resilience, and creativity at the heart of queer nightlife.
